Hi! I’m Kyle. I’m an oncologist, avid hiker, landscape photographer and content creator for the Outside Photo Doc. Having completed my residency training in Colorado, I fell in love with the mountains. Hiking is a source of adventure, challenge and solitude in the beauty of nature.

My family shares a similar love for hiking and exploring the backcountry. We take several outdoor-oriented trips each year, seeking to visit some of the most remote and exotic places both in the United States and abroad.

Several years ago, I started to dabble in landscape photography as an adjunct to hiking. This hobby has evolved in scope and has become a passion for me. This site is meant to be a portfolio in which I can share some of the best photos from our favorite places.
